Everline, Baby class
Everline Kemunto Nyagechi is the Baby class teacher at Hope Educational Centre. She is 24 years old and lives with her husband and two sons, where both are pupils at Hope. She is a Form 4/high school graduate and is working on her Early Childhood Development certificate. This is her second year at Hope. She said she likes young children and likes teaching them.
Ambina Violet Aron is Hope Educational Centre's Nursery class teacher. She is 23 and lives with her parents, three siblings and her young son. She has completed Form 4 and is finishing her ECD certificate. This is her third year teaching at Hope. She said she loves young children.
Jackline, Pre-unit/Kindergarten and deputy for lower primary
Onserio Jackline Kemunto is our Pre-unit teacher and Deputy for Lower Primary at Hope Educational Centre. She is 29 years old and lives with her parents and seven siblings. She is a Form 4 graduate, has her Early Childhood Development certificate and is working on her ECD diploma. This is Jackline's sixth year at Hope. She said she prefers to help the young children so they can prosper like she has prospered.
Everlyne, Std. 1
Nyaoni Everlyne Moraa is the Standard 1 teacher at Hope Educational Centre. She is 19 years old and lives with her parents and five siblings. She is a Form 4 graduate and is training at Matongo Teacher's College for her ECD certificate. She has taught at Hope since September of 2015. She said she likes teaching because she likes children.
Godwin, Std 2
Masogo Ouya Godwin is the Standard 2 teacher at Hope Educational Centre. He is 26 years old and lives with his uncle, aunt and eight cousins. He is a Form 4 graduate, has his Special Needs Education diploma and a national level in music. This is Godwin's first month teaching at Hope. He said he likes teaching because it is his interest.
Alice, Std. 3
Nyabera Kemunto Alice is the Standard 3 teacher at Hope Educational Centre. She is 32 years old and lives with her husband, one son, one daughter, one niece and two orphans. She has diploma in Theology from Nyang'ori Pentecostal Bible College and her ECD certificate. This is her first year teaching at Hope. She said teaching is a call.
Elinah, Std 4-8
Elinah Osoro teaches Standards 4-8 at Hope Educational Centre. She is 21-years-old and lives with her mom, sister, and brother. She is a Form 4/high school graduate and plans to get her P-1 certificate. This is her first year teaching at Hope. She said she likes teaching because it is a career and she wants to uplift her society.
Thomas, Std 4-8
Thomas Nyang'au Nyangara teaches English, science, and Christian Religious Education in Standards 4-8 at Hope Educational Centre. He is 64-years-old and lives on his family compound with his daughter, son and grandchildren. He is a certified P-1 teacher and is a retired government teacher. This is his fifth year at Hope. He said he teaches because it keeps him busy and he stays more informed.

Everline Misente Ombaki teaches social studies, science, math, and English in Standards 4-8 at Hope Educational Centre. She is 29-years-old and lives with her daughter and husband. She has her P-1 teaching certificate and her ECD diploma. This is her fifth year teaching at Hope. She said she became a teacher because she liked the way teachers taught and dressed when she was in primary school.
Silas, Std 4-8
Silas Kiboma Sosi has been teaching social studies and Kiswahili in Standards 4-8 at Hope Educational Centre since May 2016. He is 20-years-old and a Form 4 graduate who plans to go to teacher's college. He lives with his parents, three sisters, and one brother. He likes teaching because he wants to help pupils discover their abilities.

Henry, Std 4-8 and deputy for upper primary
Henry Nzau Biri, a teacher for Social studies, English, Kiswahili, and math in Standards 4-8, is 34-years-old, and lives with his wife, son, and two nephews. He has he P-1 certificate and his ECD diploma. He has been with Hope Educational Centre almost five years. He said he teaches because he wants to enlighten children of my society.
Onserio, Head Teacher, Acting Manager, Std 4-8
Onserio Espon Ondieki teaches Standards 4-8 and is Head Teacher at Hope Educational Centre. He is 29-years-old and lives with his wife and three children. He has his P-1 certificate and ECD diploma. This is his sixth year at Hope and his fourth as Head Teacher. He said he likes teaching because he loves kids. He liked teaching from primary student. He teaches here in our village because he wants to help uplift the standard of education which will uplift the standard of living. He said education is the backbone of everything of good life. Another reason he teaches at Hope is because teachers are given say in needs and it is Christian.
