HOPE EDUCATIONAL CENTRE TEACHERS & STAFF

Henry Nzau Biri 

Henry is the Head Teacher of the school as well as teacher for Social Studies/Grade 8, Math/Grade 7, and Agriculture and Music/Grade 5.  He has been at the school for over nine years. Henry is 39, married, and has one son. He has his P-1 Certificate and likes teaching because he wants to change his community educationally.

Sivellam Kwamboka  

Sivellam is the Deputy Head Teacher of the school and has taught there for over one year.  She has a Bachelor of Education in English and Literature. She teaches Home Science and Art and Craft/Grade 4, English and Social Studies/Grade 5, and English/Grade 7.  Sivellam is 24, married, and blessed with one daughter.  She said, “I love teaching because I enjoy nurturing the young people to become the world changers.”

Danny Momanyi Matureti

Danny is the Senior Teacher of the school and has been there over ten years. He has a P-1 Certificate and teaches Math and Science/Grade 8, Science/Grade 6, and Physical Education and Health/Grade 5.  Danny is 32, married, and the father of three girls.  He likes teaching because he wants to change the community educationally.

Onserio Jackline Kemunto

Jackline is currently the Grade 1 teacher and has taught at the school for over eight years. She has an ECDE Diploma Certificate, is 30, and single. She said, “I like to be a teacher to mentor learners with education that can help them in future life.”

Charles Onguso Tanchi

Charles is an upper primary teacher, in charge of Health and First Aid, and has taught at the school for six years.  He currently teaches English and Math/Grade 4, English/Grade 6, and CRE (Christian Religious Education)/Grades 5 and 8.  Charles is a trained P-1 teacher, 57, and married with five children.  He said teaching was his desire from childhood and he likes it because it transforms, changes, and enlightens the children.

Jeffris Moraa Mose

 

Jeffris is the PP-2 (Pre-Primary) teacher and an ECDE Certificate holder.  She has been at Hope for over six years, is 26, and single.  Jeffris likes teaching because she would like to see these young ones when they grow to be world changers.

Judith Mabera Nyamweya

 

Judith is the Grade 3 teacher, has taught at Hope for more than five years, and has her ECDE Certificate.  Judith is 27, married, and has two children.  She likes this profession since she wants to change her community educationally.

Robin Mutiso

 

Robin is the Grade 2 teacher. He has his ECDE Certificate and has taught at Hope for four years.  Robin is 25 and lives with his parents and siblings.  His vision is to change these little ones to be the changers of the Kenyan society and the entire world.

Gladys Moraa Mang’aro

 

Gladys is the PP-1 (Pre-Primary) teacher and an ECDE Certificate holder.  She has worked at Hope for two years, is 30, and lives with her husband and two children. Gladys likes teaching because she would like to see learners shining like stars.

Duncan Muge Oyuvu

 

Duncan is an upper primary teacher who has a Bachelor of Education in English and Literature. He has taught at Hope for over a year.  Currently he teaches English/Grade 8, Social Studies/Grade 7, CRE (Christian Religious Education/Grade 6, Science and Technology/Grade 5, and Agriculture/Grade 4.  He looks forward to working to change lives in this part of the world.

Dorcas Kemunto Omara

 

Dorcas is in her first year of teaching at Hope as an upper primary teacher.  She is a certified P-1 teacher who is currently teaching Social Studies/Grade 4, CRE (Christian Religious Education)/Grades 4 and 7, Kiswahili/Grades 5 and 8, and Math/Grade 6.  Dorcas is 24 and lives with her husband. She said that teaching is her career and that she wants to enlighten children of her society to become world changers.

Winnie Nanjala Wamalwa

 

Winnie is an upper primary teacher in her first year at Hope.  She is P-1 certified and is currently teaching Kiswahili/Grades 4 and 7, Music and Physical Health and Education/Grade 4, Art and Craft/Grade 5, and Social Studies/Grade 6.  Winnie is 28 and lives with her husband.  She likes teaching because it is her career choice and she is ready to work and nurture the young generations to be world changers.

Fred Mangera Samba

 

Fred is a certified P-1 teacher in his second month at Hope.  In upper primary he teaches Science and Technology/Grade 4, Math and Home Science/Grade 5, Kiswahili/Grade 6, and Science/Grade 7.  He is 53, married, and has three children.

Julius Chuma Okari

 

Julius is an Accounts Clerk at Hope having served in that position for more than seven years.  He is 69, married, and has six children.  He feels he has the trust and confidence to handle the collection of school fees.

Meshack Boikwa Mogaka

 

Meshack is the Security Watchman at Hope where he has served for seven years. He is 36, married, and has four children. Meshack said, “I have worked for this school as it started to be built, so my vision is to make sure that all material which belongs to the school are safe.”

Emily Moraa Ondieki

 

Emily is the school Cook, having served for over twelve years at Hope.  She is 29 and lives with her husband and three children.  Emily likes cooking because it is her profession and her talent.

Francis Masaki

 

Francis is the Assistant Accounts Clerk, where he has served for four years.  He is 52, married, and blessed with two children.
