Hope Africa Ministries

Hope Worship Centre is a recently planted church in the Syokimau Estate, just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. This church was formed from the fellowship of believers that met in a house fellowship in that area. The church provides Sunday school and church services on Sunday mornings, Bible study on Wednesday nights and house fellowship on Friday nights. Syokimau is a fairly new residential area with many families moving to and building in this area, making it an ideal location for fellowship and discipleship.

The future Hope Ministry House will have facilities to provide housing for mission and ministry teams, pastor trainings, seminars, health education classes, Bible studies, vocational training, and other community needs. Currently in the planning stage, this house will be located in the Sakwa community, a short walk from Hope Educational Centre.

what we do

We provide quality primary Christian education at Hope Educational Centre, located in the rural area of Sakwa, Nyamira District, Kenya. Sakwa is a very lush and beautiful agricultural area where most live basically off the land. This community school was formed to provide education for the local children at a low cost. When the school opened in February, 2007, it had an enrollment of 23 students and has grown to nearly 200 students, currently serving children from baby class to fourth grade. The school has a number of students who have been orphaned and are cared for by relatives or community families.
