There are many, many ways that you can help to make the Medical
Camp Mission a success!
Pray that all of us involved in this Mission keep our eyes on the Lord's will. Pray that we have the courage, strength and discipline to do His will and not our own. Pray that the ones we are going to serve know the true and risen God and that our presence gives them a measure of faith and hope in His everlasting love.
Join the Mission Team. We are blessed that this year's mission team is fully assembled, however, if you are interested in joining our next trip, let us know! Plans are in the works for two trips in 2011 -- one in the summer and another in the fall.
Donate supplies for us to ship and carry with us. We need reading glasses, and over-the-counter first aid supplies such as antibiotic ointment, Claritin, Zyrtec, Tylenol and Advil (or generic equivalents), and children and adult multivitamins. Anyone in the position of contributing prescription medications, please contact the Christ Church office at 703-690-3401.
Provide funding to aid in transportation costs, shipping and purchase of supplies once we get into Kenya. Each member of our team is responsible for covering their own expenses - approximately $2200 worth - so if you want to support a specific individual, just specify that person's name on your donation. Contributions should be made out to Christ Church and can be sent to Christ Church, 8285 Glen Eagles Lane, Fairfax Station,VA 22039. Please mark your donation "Kenyan Mission" or "Kenyan Mission-Jane Doe." All contributions are tax deductible.
