These pictures can only begin to tell a tiny piece of the story. When you are there, you constantly ask yourself, "How will we ever be able to describe this?!" The beauty contrasted with the devastating poverty and the joy and warmth contrasted with the quiet desperation evoke so many emotions. Above it all, though, is the presence of God and the confidence that He gives us to travel, to serve and to love.
These pictures are available to us through the talent and generosity of our mission photographer and friend, Bill Shugarts.
Enjoy and know Him.
